  1. Keith, I saw this video when I had ample time. What happened to the egg was the sled jumped up; then, moved 1/16" back. If the sled was fastened to the bench, that would not have happened. Still, it stopped a huge amount of recoil.

  2. Very Impressive how the recoil was so minimalized. Of course, I would have cheated and placed the ends of the egg on the block and stock. Even if a very strong person squeezes the egg between his/her palm, it will not break easily. Try it.
