Overall I think this is a great little scope for the money you spend. There are many other options out there and I’m interested in them as well. I need to venture out and by some other brands. I just like vortex and have had very good experiences with their products so I keep buying them.

  1. Those "long" 25 rnd. after market mags, if the slight bit loose/wiggley after inserting, will cause jams. your gun should work in cold weather. { Take the bolt out of the gun, rub it down with "very fine" steel wool, Any place where it rubs another suface; also the inside of the receiver any place there are parts that have other parts that touch them while gun is fired.
    Now, blow them off with canned air, {have frog lube on hand & small clean 100% cotton tee-shirt scraps} heat the bolt with hair dryer, apply just enough frog lube to coat it{don't gobb it on, don't get it near where the firing pin channel} put it down, heat the inside of the receiver, apply frog lube again. Pick up the bolt, rub " EVERY SINGLE BIT" of the frog lube off the bolt. & the same with the inside of the receiver, every bit. (leaving some in is bad a rookie mistake)
    You have to bush up the mag or mag well with something like layers of duct tape or some other kind of tape. {add one layer at a time, then check after each layer, for correct fit}
    I highly recommend taping the mag , NOT the mag "well" . Other mags { like the 10/22 10 rounders will probably work without bushing. Hope this helps.
    Nice Video, liked & subscribed.

  2. Did you get the low height or medium height rings? I just bought those same rings for the Diamondback 2-7×35 and I went up to medium because I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to clear the factory rear sight with low ones.
