Another question when your investing in gear is how much do you think your life is worth ? Surefire, acog,
Nightforce 2.5-10×24 NXS scope, SPR's , m16a4, or m4 , etc . Chose what will keep your boat afloat ! When it comes to your life you want reliability that is simple to master and will not fail ! I always find it funny a woman will spend a few thousand on a purse; but then I hear guys who risk their life on cheap gear just so they can afford that extra beer 😂

As great as ACOGs are,
I'd recommend the Primary Arms Prism. They take the same mounts, they have illumination, and the glass quality is decent with a wide field of view.
One day I'l get an ACOG.
But to be honest, most guys that love ACOGs are Marines that were issued them.
The ACOG is fucking amazing when the govt buys them.
But when it's your wallet……I'll pass.

ACOG's are just long in the tooth, when I can get a nightforce 4-22 power for the same price as a new 4 or 3.5 power acog that just kinda pathetic. They're trying to get a premium price for a product that was premium 10-15 years ago but is now just run of the mill. Yea they're super durable, but that durability also means super heavy.

Thanks for the vid. Helped me finally decide what to put on my SCAR17. No batteries. Great glass. Simple, accurate BDC. What's not to like? Expensive? Compared to what? I'd trade my POS iPhone X that people don't seem to hesitate buying in a heartbeat. Any ACOG will be around working far longer than the best iPhone.

Best for rifle, terrible for my checking account 🙁 i went with a Vortex Spitfire Prism 3X myself. Maybe one day i'll get an ACOG but i just can't swing that price tag just yet… It would be a great optic on my dream Scar though! 🙂

I think if the us government has ordered and will order millions of these optics. One would tend to think the manufacturer would drop the price. But* nope that will never happen. Why ? Because the US Government has to justify it's overspending.
