  1. I'm with you on the 1-4 thing. I can hit at 300 yards on 3x, hell I can do it with irons. But something about that range of magnification sucks. I'd rather have fixed 4x than 1-4. what can you do on 1x that you cant do on 2x or even 3x? Being able to adjust between 1x and 4x just isn't that helpful. I've been looking for a scope like this for a while because I think 2-8x is the most practical and useful range of magnification for an AR, plus it comes in a more compact package than a 3-9 or 4-12. A scope that size dwarfs an AR. I wish there were more options like this. There are too many 1-4 scopes out there. nutnfancy recommends 2-7 scopes and similar. Ranting is contagious.

  2. I think you must have had a really shitty 1-4, my Trijicon accupoint 1-4 is awesome, just like a red dot but with magnification if desired. I'm with you about wanting more than just x4, that's why I'm checking out this video. I got my Trijicon on auction Ebay as well, great deals, I'm a seller myself.
