Magwell grip is the problem, I had the same problem…I had to shave some material off the magwell grip being very careful not to take off too much. The mag should fall out when the mag release is pressed. Good luck
try the BDM 25rd mags.
I've enjoyed your series on the CMMG upper. I'm saving to buy one. I have some Blackdog mags that fit my lower just fine (bought for my Sig 522). My thinking is that Blackdog makes the CMMG mags. If that is the case, it suggests that there is some variation in mag well dimensions between manufacturers.
