Best .22lr Ammo for AR-15 with 1/7″ Twist

Would you recommend this? With a 1:7 twist

my cmmg conversion shoots better with my 10.5 upper. i dont need to change the setting of red dot for 556 to hit an 8 in target at 100 yards……with my 16 in upper it shoots way way way too low

where did you buy the locking lug, BHOA, and the pressure plug?

Have you tried the aguila SSS 60gr? I have some of those and some CCI quiets, use them in my single shot winchester model 67A. the quiets are super super quiet, decent accuracy out to 30-40 yards. but I want to use my AR platform more, and these drop in 22 conversion kits are very appealing. i have a 1/7, wondering how the aguila 60gr's would work. i'd assume they're probably the best option right now.

and a question, you said you are finding the aguila's at 30$ for 500? wish i could find em for that price! i'd buy 5000!

also, i'd like to see the aguila 60 grainers through a 1:7 barrel… assuming you can find ANY 22lr nowadays…

one of the reasons i think that the aguila is #1 is that its subsonic. the other rounds may be actually breaking supersonic, then transitioning back through to subsonic which KILLS accuracy. I have lots of experience in this with my air guns. people always think velocity is king, but a 1500 fps .177 (really turns out to be a 1200) air gun has got nothing on my 1100 .22 or 800 fps .25 because i keep weight high and speed low (well, as high as possible up to 950) especially at the 50 yard mark.
