Contacted tech support at EOTech who diagnosed my problem and mailed me a repair kit. The kit arrived and I had it fixed and up and running in about a minute.

Hello Brother, nothing better than having good tech support. I bought a new 512 years back and ended up selling it and buying a Trijicon.  Now I really like the new Holosun HS403C solar and battery powered red dots. Glad to see you got that thing up and running.

Eotech is a great company. They are local to me so I guess I'm kind of partial. Glad it worked out ok.
