  1. OK. I would buy the bolt with the dedicated collar. So wouldn't the barrel just sit in the dedicated collar and fix in place with the ball detent on the collar. I would obviously need to get the custom barrel machined as the CMMG. Actually it might just be easier to buy the cmmg barrel with adapotor.

  2. I'm getting a match 22 barrel from Border Barrels. Maybe I should give them a call to check. I assumed the collar mated the bolt to the barrel but it's my first build so still learning.

  3. Great thanks for the reply. I'm looking to build a 22 upper from scratch. I'm in the UK so I doubt my barrel will come with a barrel adaptor. I guess I need to buy a dedicated bolt from scratch rather than convert a conversion : )

  4. as it sits now I have a dedicated 22 bolt in it. I originally purchased the conversion bolt. when I bought the 22lr barrel it came with the barrel adapter to turn the conversion bolt into a dedicated bolt. Just swap the chamber adapter for a barrel adapter. hopefully that makes sense. I think in the next video of the series I actually show the difference.
