  1. Unsure of Eotech's Holo reticle, compared to regular red dots,..but I can say that regular red dots are always blurry to people suffering Astigmatism.

My GF's red dot is crisp to her, but to me, it's a droopy, tiny red blob. Definitely NOT a perfect round like she sees when looking through it.

I do know Eotech's reticle tech is different/better, so maybe it doesn't pose that same problem.

  2. Thanks I have been wondering why my is beginning to look blurry. First its my Age and second I just moved it from one rifle to my NEW AR PDW and your correct…its mounted farther away from my eye than it was on my previous rifle and that accounts for the appearance of the fuzziness. I also used my stronger eye and I noticed that my weakening eye sight is a contributing factor.
I was researching sending it back to EOTECH, but I saw your review and it was helpful.

    Thank you

  3. On yours when the reticle is moving closer toward the bottom of the glass does it get dimmer the closer to the bottom it gets? Seems mine does, brighter from the center to the top of glass and when it moves from center to the bottom of glass it gets dimmer an dimmer…sry if this is confusing

  4. It really is like a scar, the more you pick at it. The worse it gets. However, I always go back to loving it. Its kind of like a bad blowjob. Could be worse, could be better, but in the end I friggin love it.

  5. And yes, the farther you get away from the reticle, it looks like the reticle takes up the whole screen, but in reality, the 1 MOA is still 1 MOA regardless of how much space it takes up in the lense.

  6. It has nothing to do with your reticle being fuzzy. When you concentrate on the reticle it is pretty blurry, when your using it the way your supposed to like focusing on the target, the reticle becomes crystal clear.

  7. The .65 moa ring is made up of loads of tiny dots so it will look fuzzy, if you have an astigmatism depending on the severity it'll look blurry or even give you a ghost image of the ret.
