I have a DTWS Arms 22 Nosler. It's a great round for hunting the lower end of medium and small game.
I've been in the AR building and selling business since about 1984. If you want to compete and cost is not an option but all means buy this gun. I don't mind getting my sub MOA groups with my .223 Wylde Barrel on top of my Rock River Arms lower. Any fur-bearing animal within 350 yd doesn't stand a chance with my setup. Now, I can get 1000 reliable accurate and varmint killing rounds for under $300. I can get reliable mil-spec stainless steel 30 round mags for $9 a piece. That makes my fur-bearing hunting or planking or even dropping some groups on a paper Target dirt ass cheap compared to a 22 Nosler. I heard the same thing when the 224 Valkyrie came out and again I'm fine with mine. But if you have nothing else to spend money on or you have the extra funds by all means indulge yourself.

There actually is a more powerful .22 centerfire in an AR than the 22 Nosler AR. The UMAR-22250. An AR chambered in .22-250.

How does the round compare to the 22-250 out of curiosity? Yea I know the 22-250 doesn’t work in an AR

The new .22 Nosler? No, introduced by Winchester in 1963 as the .224E5 for use in their rifle to compete against the AR15. The two cartridges are identical.
If a 22 caliber bullet can strike a steel plate at 1k yards hard enough to be heard back at the gun line, that is some serious energy.
I would love to see how a hand loaded 75 grain speer gold dot does on deer and hogs at typical hunting distances. I have a 308 caliber AR for hunting deer and pigs, but this 22 nosler just might save me from carrying that heavy 308 beast. I'm really digg'n this new round. As usual, you videos possess a level of professionalism and detail that is rare on youtube. Meh, short of shooting the heavy pills I'm not impressed. I'd rather see some 55gr pills shoved up to 3750fps or so.
