  1. New to AR's. Noticed you both have fore grips on the rail but neither of you used them. Is there a reason for that? Would you recommend me to buying a fore grip for an AR if I'm to purchase the weapon?

  2. Especially when the neighbors come in your bedroom window during the night to see what you own and have a good time with your wife and daughters–the feeling of security you must experience not being able to defend yourself with an actual weapon that might equalize the force being threatened against you, must be thrilling and memorable.

  3. So 22LR is .222in or 5.6388mm. 5.56 is .224in or 5.6896. Just that difference is negligible for 22LR speeds. That is enough to engage the rifling as they make those barrels infinitesimally narrower than the actual round- if you have ever recovered an intact bullet you know what i am talking about. Lastly, most 22LR is cast lead which compresses when fired, filling that extra room that was left. This works really well on new to mid-life barrels. At the end of the barrel life accuracy dies.

  4. I can't see how this drop in bolt can be accurate with a .22 going through a 5.56 barrel. Is this just for shooting really close range? It's a cool addition to have but I just don't understand how it works.

  5. That's a false sense of security as the criminals own guns in Spain. You are more than three times as likely than an American to be a victim of a hate crime as in here in America. The kidnapping rate/xenophobic incidents is worse than Mexico. Spain's rate of stabbings is 2X higher than both the US and Mexico. You are only topped by England that is also anti-gun. I would rather be shot than stabbed to death. Please tell me when you feel like making a fucking valid point. Reference: Wikipedia.

  6. I'm not Mexican, nor live in Mexico. I'm Argentine and I live in Spain and Argentina. In neither country is widespread gun ownership. This allows the person next to you almost certainly will not have a gun either. That gives' sense of security and peace.

  7. Living in Mexico you should certainly understand more than Americans that the world is a scary place and guns have the ability to stabilize a threat. Drugs, corruption, and kidnappings are still widespread according to Wikipedia. Also 90% of Americas cocaine comes from over your border. Also Obama still sells assault rifles to Mexican drug lords in hopes that they can track murders to gain evidence. Gun ownership allows some to make a choice; gun owner or victim?

  8. Its actually not paint, it is duracoat. I do most of the team coating and I just finished a batch of AR-15s yesterday. It's more like a glue dissolved in a solvent that is sprayed on via airbrush and then the solvent flashes off. The resin then hardens- it does a great job of protecting the weapon from the elements as well. I never have to worry about rust/oxidation.
