i use Black Dog Machine magazines which are similar to CMMG and those may even be made by BDM?
i wanted the all black mags but PSA had a sale on mags for $11ea and smoke is all they had so i got those but i might paint them? but the smoke is nice so you can see how much ammo is left.
the BDM mags work flawless! i have never had any FTE or FTF, plus you can take them apart to clean them. i have the ones with stainless feed lips which can be replaced if damaged.

CMMG makes quality parts for AR's for sure. A dedicated upper would be the perfect next step. What type of magazine is used with it – is it the same or similar to the conversion kit magazine?
i have this convertor and was having fun with it till i bought a dedicated .22 cmmg upper and OMG that is when the fun really started!!!
the accuracy is just incredible! at 25yds i can shoot as fast as i can pull the trigger and shoot a group the size of my fist with a red dot scope. and slow fire i can make that group shrink to golf ball size and with a good scope i couldnt imagine how well it would shoot!
get yourself a dedicated upper barrel and start having some real fun!

The conversion kit is a nice value, and I have heard consistently good feedback on it. I have personally had great experience with it. The GSD is my best buddy… I keep trying to think of ways to work him in to more videos.
