I picked up a Nikon Prostaff 7i Laser Rangefinder from Opticsplanet.com and I am really impressed. As far as I can determine, this Nikon Prostaff 7i is the best hunting rangefinder for the money. Check out the links below to find one at Opticsplanet.

  1. I really enjoyed your video .. Very informative and honest review .Sound like Jeff Goldblum    LOL , seriously though ,  I found your personal experience with this device invaluable and interestingly, I had just bought one prior to watching your clip . Great Work , Cheers from Canada .. !

  2. do u also run out of bullets?? if u used cameras before have u never taken a second battery. its really not a negative choice of battery by nikon but a negative of the user. having said that I argee it's a good RF

  3. Do you live out near Temecula?  Those rock formations look just like Rainbow pass.  I also didn't know that the rainbow shooting range has a distance of 950yd.  I wanted to shoot out there but never got around to it and now I'm moving out of the state.

  4. I bought another brand of range finder about 15 yrs ago and it has a limited usable distance of about 400yds, old school. I know new range finders are good out to 1,000yds which is incredible. The good news for that companies making these toys is that my daughter is 10 and likes to go deer hunting so my ol reliable will have a shorter lifespan than it should have otherwise, ha ha. Mine was not too expensive but it's clearly not comparable to the newer ones, I know that when I need to get the next one, it won't hurt too much…
Thanks for sharing this, I'll keep these in mind.
