Heres how I see it. You got Tacticool brands(Basically lumens) and you got professional brands(Durability and performance). You buy tacticool brands for back up lights, to show your friends, some outdoor excursions, because the OTF lumens impressed you etc, and you buy the Pro brands when it's time to handle yo motherfuckin scandal. The only professional brands that I'd go with is streamlight. You won't find another brand that has been more rigorously real world tested. There are thousands of photos of mangled and shredded up Stingers and Strions on the internet that still shines true. Some of them will really have you thinking. While my PD35 and UC30 both crapped out5 on me after rolling off of a picnic bench, my Strion fell from roofs, out of speeding moving cars, ran over by commercial trucks, and preserved in any environment a commercial enforcement officer may encounter. Yes, I love all of my lights from Thrunite, Nitecore, Fenix, and Olight, but I know when its time to clock in for C shift, I'm going to put away my toys and take out my tools.
do some research on 18650s. only a couple companys actually make them and both of these are "re wraps" for branding purposes. Most 18650s are in the 2200-2600mah range. 3000mah and higher ratings are almost always a lie.
The Strion LED HL now comes with a USB charger that plugs into the charging base and there are 2 charging bases that come with some models (Henc the higher price) so you don't have to switch out the charging base.
Couldn't figure out how to message you through Facebook.. But I was wondering if you could do a behind the scenes of how you make videos.. I'd like to see the differences from when you started (lighting fire outside of I'm not mistaken haha) and how you do them today.. Kind of a timeline for all of us LONGTIME Cutlerylover viewers!
i buy the thrunite tc12 like two weeks ago and man this flashlight is a beast and i like that is water proof and shock and this will help me when i get in the mexican army and more the strobe, turbo and firefly
I own two of the Strions, one of the older styles witch I've had a few years, and one HL. Until now I never knew they had different modes. Thanks for the info.
for the streamlight docks, you don't snap in the lights directly. Insert it from the top and pull the handle down, and the light will slide in place and lock.
Yeah Thrunite is the definite winner I think. I like the wall mounting option of the Streamlight but personally if I was going to buy a light to keep on a charger for in the house, I'd probably just get a Olight with the magnetic USB charger since it should be around the same price as the Thrunite.
i think they do there own batteries for the recoil feature of the light the positive and negative is on the same end that way the recoil pushes the batt into both contact points on the batery i think its called recoil nuetral or shock nuetral maybe
Hey can you make more balisong videos I think they are very interesting and fun to watch. Also I think your the only person in the whole world who can make me want to watch videos about flashlights and tops. I have really grown to likening your channel
Cops use stream light for a reason their reliable when you need them. My opinion thrunite flashlights are too yellow of a light I own several of them and don't like the color of the light good review tho

The streamlight strion is an awesome light ! 2 years of rough service & not a problem of any kind , the thrunite looks good just never owned one

I'm going with streamlight
Another sell out review of Thrunite? It seems like anyone with a YouTube channel is getting free shit from Thrunite.
The Streamlight has a few cool concepts, but its stats suck. Which is too bad.
what is your favorite flashlight jeff ?
i don't know why 'american made' flashlights are twice as expensive with twice as less overall output (lumens, runtime, modes etc. )
if my tn12 ever dies or gets lost i think ill upgrade to the tc12. the tn12 has served me well.
I definitely like the Thrunite better, and I'm thinking about getting one for a camping trip. Thanks for the review comparison.
Fenix uc35 > any other single 18560 mine looks like hell but still works without a hiccup every single day
Can you do a review on a Solaray Pro ZX1 flashlight? Wanna hear your thoughts on it
Do make a cross-test with the batteries swapped, you might be surprised….
I like the strion. It's my work flashlight.
hey Jeff you vape right ? up for a trade ?
Compare the tc12 to olight's s20r
I can't see the brown light as well, I much prefer the bluish color..Just me. Seems like ThruNite has more power, more options at less cost.
Srt7 nitecore is where its at
can you do another edc update?
i love the thrunite tn12. it works for me and so damn bright.
Hey cutlerylover do you still flip bali's if so could you pls do another balisong video
yeah streamlight sells old led technology for top end prices. kind of ridiculous that streamlight wont get with the times.
there is a reason why olight, thrunite, and the others are mopping the floor with streamlight

just got the strion as a new duty replacement. I like it a lot.
1 minute in, and Thrunite won 100x over
Lumes and whatnot Jeff did you learn Chinese in Jersey LOL

Did you put a lift on your truck? Looks like it from the tiny bit we can see.
Hey, I am looking for a balisong trainer knife around the price of 20-40 bucks. What's my best option?
I'm looking for a good cheap flashlight. Around $20. Know any good ones.
i think they do there own batteries for the recoil feature of the light the positive and negative is on the same end that way the recoil pushes the batt into both contact points on the batery i think its called recoil nuetral or shock nuetral maybe
i love my srltrion its usually mounted on my ar10 and doesnt miss a lick i also think the protac hl is badass better even but its not rechargable

30 seconds in and I already knowthe thrunite must win. Tail stand

The streamlight pro tac hl usb would be a better comparison to the thrunite, although it costs around $100-.
