WHICH AR-15 SHOULD I BUY?

After 4 or 5 years of research, I finally purchased my first AR-15. Check out this video to learn about 4 popular entry-level AR-15s, the Ruger 556, Smith and Wesson M&P Sport II, DPMS Oracle, and the Bushmaster QRC.

In my opinion all of these entry-level AR-15’s are similar in value and quality. My best advice is to get them in your hands and see what feels the best for you.

  1. Hey I just bought a Diamondback and am kicking my own ass for not spending an extra 200 and getting a colt. I can't agree when you say they are all quality. You definitely want all aluminum upper and lower, not like the M&P. In my opinion. Also you want a chrome molly barrel unless you're only hunting a little bit or going to the range once a week. I shoot a lot so I needed something mil-spec-ish.

  2. You forget rock river, stag arms, sig sauer, windham armory, daniel defense, colt, armalite, Anderson arms, and many more that offer a cheaper platform and some amazing setups for the same ball park prices….there are even a bunch more out there….but they are around the 1000 buck mark…if it lasts longer and jams less and has better accuracy im sometimes willing to go another 150 in on a gun….but that's just me…these others i suggested are some of my favorites for their prices…maybe have a look.
