I received the Streamlight Strion HPL directly from Streamlight and I’ve got to tell you, I really liked it. To me, there aren’t a lot of downsides to this light. It pretty compact and perfect for the car, the office, home, or in an emergency bag. 2 chargers are included so that’s a major win, and as you’ll see it lights up whatever it’s looking at. What!? This shows the lack of intelligence you internet preppers have. Why would you use a light that takes proprietary special batteries into a bug out situation? Even 18650 USB lights are questionable. Unless you find a power source, a police/military outfitter, or a high-end surplus stop and shop, after a few days of use of that 130$ badass duty light will be nothing more than a window breaker and a hammer. I buy separate flashlights for camping and cross country riding and I might bring along the strion hl, but only at a supplementary to the uc30, mh27 and an AA light.
no way that thing is 40,000 candela those numbers are bloated my thrunite tn11sv2 looks way way brighter at 60 feet 400 meters is a major stretch too maybe 250 if its lucky.
i love streamlight! my three main edc lights are streamlight and they have never let me down. i really want to get my hands on one of these to complete the circle.

Streamlight makes the best flashlights sorry surefire but you broke on me after two weeks of hard use. My streamlight has been with me for 5 years of hard use now and not a damn thing wrong with it.
