Streamlight ProTac 2AAA flashlight review. One seriously bright pen light that handles like a tool, not a toy.

Here how a Protac 2aaa looks after two years of industrial maintenance use: https://pasteboard.co/H4ra0P1.png. It is made from super thin aluminium, it just broke into two pieces. The Magmini 2aaa just keep going drop after drop.
When companies start allowing 10440 batteries then I'll be interested but I have no use for weak alkaline flashlights that leak and destroy the light. You get twice the output at least. Who cares about runtimes? It's a AAA. You can bring 15 in your pocket and not even feel it.
Their made for LEO and other non civilian purposes and are priced according to their worth. Thrunites and nitecores are chinese firms getting their shit together, hiring good marketing agency and still making an "impressive but still chinesey" product. They might be good but streamlights a hidden "engineered in usa" gem. And when you break your shit or it fails, they just give you a new one. Ive never broke a glass lens streamlight and drop them off auto lifts and shit weekly. A few of my stingers are worn and beat so bad they just feel so damn good in your hand. Vision is the most powerful tool and flashlights enhance it.
which is brighter and overall better? the protac 2aaa or the stylus pro 90 lumen model?
Very very good!!!
