Here we get to finally take a look at one of the newer offerings from Nikon. The X1000 from Nikon seems to be a very nice scope and from shooting it, the glass is very clear and crisp. The biggest downside I see is the turrets, for the price point Id like to have a more audible turret, but overall I think its a very nice scope and the Nikon quality shows…

What mount are you using. I know it's a LaRue. But which one
Is this second focal plane or first?
just got this scope in Mrad. The only thing im lost on is the 0-7 marking under the turrets. i believe they help you keep track of how many full rotations you;ve made. but im lost as to where i should have my turrets start at. if im move it all the way to 0 then i have no room to go down if needed. Can you give some advise on these rotation marks.
What is the max range you'd use this scope with it being 4-16×50?
