The reticle fades towards the right side of the screen and gets brighter towards the left side. There is also a film / glue like substance on the inside of the lower portion of the glass.

Delamination due to humidity ingress. They got sued over this and other problems and had a voluntary recall.
Can't believe I own 3 of these freaking things, two of my older models are doing really well, but an EXPS-3-2TAN is fading AT THE CENTER, no jokes, it the dimmest right in the middle of the window…

My EOTech EXPS 3-0 makes the same. But much more stronger. There is like a foggy circle around the middle. Had eotech said something how this could happen. My optic is nearly unused and us standing in my safe.

eotech told me it was screen delamination and even though mine was waaaaaaaay out of warranty and i wasn't the original owner they fixed it for me for free, I had a 517 though and it might be because i live like 20 minutes away from their repair facility
