  1. Just a follow up to my last comments a few week ago. After finally having CMMG return my calls. I sent the pistol back, after 2 weeks they tell me the upper was not cut properly & the clearance for the mag to fit was too shallow & the ejection port was cut too small. So, I'm still waiting for them to either fix, replace or return my money. With all the issues on this gun, the easiest thing would be to replace it, after testing the replacement gun & melt this one down. I will not buy CMMG again.

  2. Had the same mag issue. 3 rounds, jam, 3-4 rounds mag falls out. Double feeds, stove pipes, FTE, It will not "click" into the mag well. I've ordered some other mags, just waiting for the UPS guy. I have to hold & push up on the mag to get it to feed & stay in. When the gun runs, it's great, but the mags SUCK. CMMG, get your act together.

  3. After consulting with others concerning some of the problems I was having with my AR9 mags, I decided to disassemble all 10 of my Cproducts 30 round and one 20 round mag, and both of my ASC/Metalform, and all 4 of my Korean made plastic mags and gave them a cleaning with powderblast and later a lube coat of Special Forces Dry lube and then reassembly . Then loading all mags with a 5 round less than max load each and out to the range. The wife did all the shooting with only one stoppage in all the mags. As before, two rounds had seen fit to wedge themselves in the body of the mag and this prevented all subsequent rounds from having any spring tension on them and failing to load the next round in line. Cleaning and dry lubing seemed to help a lot and it appears that there is enough width in the body of the mag to allow two rounds to wedge themselves to a stoppage occasionally. Still, 100% reliability is the goal and I am not sure how to get there. The single stoppage occoured on one of my Cproducts mag, but only one. Ben

  4. Good to hear everything worked out. Had the same issue with Qc10 lower and new metalform mags, let the new mags sit overnight fully loaded, ran like a top. Did same with asc mag before even using it, no problems.

  5. So far those 200 dollar "cheap-ass" (lol) Hipoints seem to have fewer problems than this 1000 dollar "precision" machine. I know a "mag issue" and charging handle……. but first off right-out-of-the-box? So far with you guys the worst I've seen was the sight on on of the Hipoints go spinnin' around… LOL

  6. Had to take down gun when it happened. After shoot for a year it seems to work better. Some mags are worse than others. It seems like slot it magazine to hold mag it is not lined up correctly. It's hard to say if it is on gun side or magazine side.

  7. That sucks guys! I hate it when you get a new gun and that happens. I have a Mossberg with the exact same jamming issues. Well, kinda…. I have the 702 plinkster with a 25rd mag, and it will only feed cci. And that still is not great. Hope everything works out for y'all!
