I remember years ago when Springfield Armory was planning on coming out with an AR-15. Colt took them to court I believe or spmething like that. But whatever Colt did worked back then. I believe Rock Island Arms, Sendra and SGW were producing AR's at the time. I had all three but they are long gone.
5.56 or 300 blk？ Which one would be better for this pistol? I own a 16 barrel sig mcx with 300 blk and everything is nice but the ammo cost is killing me ! Would like to get an 556 for saint pistol but feel like short barrel, 300 blk May have some advantages???

I don't understand why any body would want a 'AR pistol' , other than strictly indoor self defense…the arm brace, the small hit in velocity for little added benefit in compact size.
