CMMG UN BOXING

This is my first AR15 purchase. I would not call this rifle “entry level” but there are many more expensive ones to choose from. Some of the features I was looking for are, well made bolt carrier group, either 4150 CrMo or stainless steel barrel, mid-length low profile gas system, and rifle length free floating hand guard. I got lucky when I came across this MK4 because as a bonus to those features I considered “must have”, it also has a standard Geissele SSA 2-stage trigger and the complete rifle comes in under 6.5 pounds. Fully loaded with 30 rounds plus scope and mount and this thing is just over 9 pounds. The trigger is short and crisp and even with the mid- length gas system, I can’t out run the cycle. As fast as you can press the bang switch, it delivers. 5 full mags emptied so far and no issues. On day one when zeroing the scope, I was able to get multiple shots on a one inch dot from 50yds. Wait till I get good!
