ABArms (American Built Arms) manufactures the MOD1 handguard. It’s a high quality handguard for carbine length AR15 rifles. Be sure to watch the video below for the full-auto heat test of the handguards:

After jumping on your rifle like you did you might be able to shoot around corners now with it. 🙂
Bought this about 3 years ago, love it but there is a pro lem imo, in this vid mac offset it very well because he has a A2 style upper reciever with the carry handle, on a flat top reciever the pic rail on top is not the same height, if it was itd be perfect
Order mine earlier today!
I replaced my Magpul with AB Arms Mod1 on my Bushmaster ORC and i love it. Â it looks a little blocky at first, when compared to the Magpul MOE, but that hand grip is so natural. Â When added to an Optics Ready with no site, it adds a real muscular look to the front end.
Did this handguard automatically make the front sling attachment unusable?
+Military Arms Channel where can I find that jacket?Â
I love how you took the top piece off without the d ring tool. Soo many ppl bitch about it. Do some push ups ppl
Reminds me a little of a G36K handguard. Very cool.
Nice to see something new besides all the magpul bullshit you see everyday
I live in Indiana to
I avoid face book like the plague so I will ask my question here.
Is the lower hand guard hard plastic or a soft rubbery texture?
Thanks for the video. I have been looking at AB Arms for a while now and have decided to put one at the top of my list. I have noticed the angle at the end. My question is this. Since I may or may not have a iron site on my build could you recommend a gas rail or do ABArms sell one that fits the angle? I really want a free floating HG but I really like ABArms design.
The other hand-guard is the LTF. I want one for my 1st AR build as well.
at 01:25 his voice cracks!! i think somebody's finally becoming a man 😉 jk
Wow. lol xDDD
@JamieGunReviews It sits slightly higher. They also offer another handguard that's identical to this set however it lacks the rail.
Is the rail on the hand guards the same height as the rail on your receiver?
@PolishNationalism It's a discontinued Eddie Bauer jacket. I wish I had bought a couple of them…
I'm sorry if you get this question a lot but where can i get that nice coat/ jacket that you where in many of your vids?
@Sturmgewehre hope you're safe away from the the tornadoes!
@sevenpeaksandvalleys It's kind of funny, when I watched the video during editing I was surprised to see how much the barrel and receiver were flexing. 🙂
that looks like My DoubleStar Minus the bad ass rail I like it!
@RuthlessZabusa Yeah I looked at those. They are really nice. I prefer the smaller diameter of modular handguards but I'm considering the MI.
@Yusuf1187 What about Midwest Industries drop in rails, they have one in mid-length for $140.
@HungarianLegionnaire Depending on which manufacture you ask. Everyone suggests a different round count for "break in".
@huntwithairguns I know, I mentioned that one in another of my comments here. The shape of it is just chunky and awkward IMO. And I know this shouldn't matter but I also think it's absolutely ugly as sin. So I figure I'll just keep my A2 HG or get a Troy drop-in modular HG like another user recommended.
@TheCromeShop I approved, thanks.
