I have the 512 mounted on my Daniel Defense AR-15. Great weapon sight. It’s a part of my SHTF setup.
I’ve got an EOtech XPS 3-2 on my geissele/Noveske build, but I would be worried about it getting shot out in Airsoft.
You bought this sight for a bb gun?
Took them 8 months to send me the replacement from USA to Canada. Hope this new one won't lose the recticle during recoil like the last one. So if ppl in Canada, be prepare to wait for a long long long time if you got a lemon.

Almost bought one but luckily found out about that the sight changes zero in different temperatures.
Never gonna regret that i chose aimpoint.
Even if that fact doesnt matter you it still makes a statement about the company itself that they knew about the defect and kept it to themselfs.

And as for the 2000'ish look and the good old triangle front sight, I love it! I'm setting up my GHK to resemble Iraq war period rifles, which means I'll have to get an ACOG rather than an Eotech :p
I totally understand how you went with a real one. I don't think I've ever read about a copy that could combine real markings, good parallax, brightness and withstand GBBr kick. :/
