i have this light, it is not 10 tap programmable…
its an ok light, but it takes forever to charge the battery!
and if you run it at the HIGH of 200 lumens for around 2 min, the light gets super hot.
I like the run time on the old ones….One better and your good I got a few of them….

It’s about time Streamlight pumped up the lumens on the microstream lights. Other companies have being offering 90-120 lumens out of a AAA light.
I asked Streamlight in December when these will be released and they said it should be January. I still can’t find one. I have the basic Microstream and the AAA battery doesn’t last long at all. But it’s definitely a great useful little light even at only 45 lumens. The clip makes it handy as hell and it’s small enough to fit in your pocket without even noticing it’s there.
Wish I could buy one…Probably won't be available until Christmas.
Does the new usb microstream come with the battery?
Simplicity is the great thing about the original Microstream. Single mode, common, battery. Only thing it needs is some color variations.
