Are there any momentary only lights for the handgun?
If it's not an option on the site just shoot them an email (I think that's what I had to do as well….) with what you want and they'll get right back to you with a quote.
For the belt—-I have been wearing a Blackhawk riggers belt for years and they're great. I got tired of breaking the issued belts every few months on patrols—the Blackhawk ones are much more durable.
Thanks! For some reason, I dont see an option to specify that I will want to accomodate a light. Is there room by default?
I also came across the Raven Concealment ones, which look really nice (pricey though)
And last but not least, do you have any recommendations for a good nylon belt? I like the cobra buckled ones, but those look like such a pain to put through your belt loops.
I have two RKBA kydex holsters for Glocks with TLRs and they've been great (and priced well); I'm sure I'll be getting more down the road. If you get one, tell them I sent you—they may get it out a little sooner (no promises).
Do you have any recommendations for a holster for a Glock 17 with a TLR-1s?
Thanks. I try to minimize the rambling (sometimes I fail at that one…)
Great review. Quick, to the point, and informative. Wish some other guys on youtube would follow in those footsteps when doing reviews.
Indeed.
I just saw the 300 lumen version… I think I need a second tlr-1s.
You're quite welcome. I'll be doing the 300 lumen model here shortly.
Going to pick one up for my M&P 9. Thanks for the review!
No review yet but they're very high quality products. I have the laser/light combo and it's rock solid.
It'll work with the 1913 insert.
This light is compatible with the S&W M&P40 right? if so, what insert would I use? Im planning on getting the TLR1 here within the next month.
Glad to hear it. I've used one on one of my SBR'd ARs as well.
Just installed and tried the TLR-1s, and I love it. It's an added bonus that I can attach it to my AR if needed. Thanks again for the great review, as this video helped me finally make up my mind on which pistol light to choose.
Glad to hear it; you'll be happy with that choice for sure.
Great video. As per your advice, I ordered the TLR-1s yesterday from Amazon. Can't wait to fit it on my Glock!!! Thanks for all the great info!
I've heard that about the TLR3s as well but I don't own one so I really can't say one way or another.
I'd like to mod a TRL-3 for more output and put it on my G23. But I've heard that they break at the mount, sometimes. I used to drive my dad's '68 GT conv. 428 interceptor resto, back in the day.
I'll have to try that; my camera doesn't seem to like filming at night as it's currently set up. Thanks.
It may help if you turn off the autofocus during the nighttime shoots. Thanks for the reviews, I enjoy watching.
