  1. My Nikon Slughunter went crap. Got it replaced, replacement seems to work. Im not as big of fan of Nikon. Burris in my opinion makes better scopes. I may replace my Nikon slughunter with one. Nikon sure has a lot of refurbs, and I have yet to see a goofed up Burris Ive also heard good things about the Sun Optics shotgun scope too, and it has a etched reticle, for under $100. Honestly, I think scope makers get it all wrong. 3x for for woods hunting is sometimes too much. Scope makers should make lower powered scopes, like 1-10x. No reason they cant. In dark early morning woods, if you get a deer in real close, sometimes 3x is way too much. Ive had it happen to me. Deer was so close, I couldnt take the shot, as my scope was too high power at 3x. Couldnt tell the deer from the dark woods shadows. If scope makers would make a 1-10x range scope, it would be way better for tons of applications, especially if they went in ffp with a bdc of some sort. Maybe Primary arms will hear the need, and come up with someone.

  2. I'm thinking of putting this shotgun scope on my shotgun with the fast release rings and also put this 2-7 bdc on my 30/30 One scope for two jobs I will just print out my ammo sheet for each.would this work or lm I missing something?
