GOOD STUFF ON AMAZON

Thank you I bought it as a gift for someone and wanted to see what others thought on the way to the party now LOL
This is the humble mechanic I used to like. Always a alcoholic drink near bye.
I just bought the 90 lumen model in eBay for $16.36 everyone go buy it!!!!
I had a Stylus Pro Usb for about 8 mo ths before the copper leads fell out of the usb port. it still worked just wouldnt take a charge. i dropped it million times and drop it in gasoline and motor oil and its always held up. im super rough on flashlights and usb cords in general. I just bought a regular Stylus Pro so i dont have to worry about its internals falling out. The smaller version of this light is also bulletproof.
dude i love my microstream. use it all the time the thing is great
as an operator at a chemical plant, I can tell you that these lights are great. I use mine all of the time from cleaning vessels and filling drums. great little light, very tough.
its triple a
batteryes guys
You need to do a brush review….
Just ordered one of these lights off Amazon because iv been searching for a good pocket edc light, thanks for the review!
Lightweight, intense light, easy to operate with one hand- this would be an incredible tool for law enforcement or an emergency responder. I'm buying a few more immediately I doubt one could ask for a more versatile hand held light. The beam is very intense- might even do well as a self-defense item as it is blinding if shone directly in the eyes. Money well spent!
Just saw this on Amazon: Streamlight 66118 Stylus Pro Black LED Pen … by Streamlight http://amzn.to/2bFiReK
Bought a stylus pro when my Olight S10R crapped out. Granted I do use my lights regularly, I don't really abuse them. My Stylus pro only lasted 3 weeks. It was probably the fourth or fifth time I had dropped it from about 3 ft and I literally broke the threads of the body when it fell out of my pocket on an elevator. On the other hand I've had a FourSevens as a backup for about 3 years and have beat the shit out of it and left it submerged for almost 24 hours and it still runs like a top. Just my 2¢.
I used that same flashlight when I was a service writer. It worked great for awhile, but it eventually had a cap-button failure. I had to smack the light on my palm to get it to turn on. The Mac tool guy said it's a common failure. He replaced that end cap for me twice while I was working at the shop.
send the broken one back to stream light…. free replacements
Hey Charles, I also have a couple streamlight stylus pros. They are great little lights but i would recommend you check out the preon 2 from four sevens. They are similar in size to the stylus and they also run off of two triple A batteries. The preon2 puts out 190 lumens, has a couple different modes, and it is able to be submerged in fluids. The button is also easier to use than the stylus.

have you checked out the rechargable one?? thats the one im rockin right now
The stream lights are the best flashlights by far how do I know this? Because where I work I am know as the "great flashlight destroyer" I don't abuse them but I do drop them and bump there around a bit put a flashlight in my hands and it has breathed its last. Stream lights are the only oned I have that haven't croaked after a few weeks in my gentle care 🙂
**Button fix**…I got a micro stream and stylus pro …both buttons were way too hard to push on and off. I took an eraser from a pencil and cut a super small piece off the end and placed it inside the button.. You just have to cut the eraser down until it works. It helps I promise.. Awesome flashlights!!!
Does anyone kno where I can get the replacement gasket for the battery compartment online Mine recently wripped from wear n tear? I don't want to get a new one of the one i have is still functional.
just picked up a Stylus Pro from the Cornwell guy, love it thanks for the review!
Streamlight actually upgraded the stylus pro from 48 lumens to 65 lumens. I'm not sure if you knew that or not. I would definitely recommend getting the upgraded one. It's worth it. Amazon and eBay carry them as well as the tool truck guys. I have 2 of them now and I love them. I'm also a tech myself, an entry level tech and I use this light every single day at work, and I love it. Every guy at work uses one lol
Great video. I strongly recommend putting Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries in the lights you don't use too often (cars, desk) They won't leak and ruin otherwise perfectly good lights. They also run longer when you do use them.
Sorry, one more thing… in case you need a light for under the hood!
Charles, you said you picked up that yellow box for $900? Are the stickers there to hide the box identity (just in case)? I can't see someone letting it go for that cheap if it's a $3k to $6k box. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to find that kind of a deal… it just make me wonder.
I was stylus pro user for many years but once I bought the 3 watt (made in USA) pen light from Snap on Blue point, I have yet to go back to the stylus pro. The bright beam of the Blue point is very intensive. It's rated at 100 lumens and I suspect it is an accurate rating. I highly recommend you make a visit to the tool truck. You won't be disappointed. Kind of pricey, but well worth it IMHO

I love streamlight shtuff, but beware, Their warranty service is slow as molasses in January. I had the switch go in a stylus, and my snappy-guy sent it in and finally just gave me a new one after six weeks of pestering. I carry it in my shirtpocket, but use a MAC small mid-size one that is my workhorse. I can't believe I used to cart around a streamlight stinger all day! lol!
Tech next to had one of those lights, he lost it:(. I prefer the strion by streamlight, I hate buying batteries, keeping 9 volts around for my low amp probe for my scope is hard enough for me.
I agree with you on the force needed for the button, other then that though they really are awesome flashlights.
did you mean AAA? I just ordered one and the amazon ad said it took triple.
Best light i have seen is the narva heavy duty inspection light. I had to order from australia and I live in norway. I bought 2 of them and they are simply AWESOME. they are expensive but with lithium ion battery and docking station charger its a winner to me 😀
Thanks for the vid Charles, just ordered one. The Amazon reviews seem to have some complaints about the switch breaking within a few months, but you can fix this by shimming the button – sounds like it stretches (?) a bit and the button no longer makes contact with the power connection. I figured since you 10+ I shouldn't really worry about it 🙂
I seen this light used by Thomas the best VW tech in Canada 🙂 and I've been using it ever since. Not as well built as yours but it does do a fantastic job. Different design. I bought 5 for under $15 free shipping – in US dollars you probably get 6 .
