Mount your scope with the Nikon Series Mounts from OpticsPlanet.com:
An often overlooked accessory to a rifle setup is the scope mount. To ensure pinpoint accuracy, safety of the user, and keeping your new riflescope in top condition, you’re going to need a solid mounting system. Nikon‘s P-Series and M-Series do the trick to keep everything safe and secure. The P-Series are two piece systems that come in both 30mm and 1″, are reversible, and give you the ultimate flexibility. The M-series comes as a one piece system and a variety of options and provides a great amount of strength, especially to those longer scopes. Before your next hunt or trip to the range, make sure to have your equipment mounted properly with the Nikon P-Series and M-Series mounts!

I had my elevation maxed out and was hitting dirt. At 500 yards even though the scope should have been compensating for that range. Am I supposed to have the X-ray mount to be able to shoot at 500?
can we see how to mount the solid mount with two points, im a little confused
