I picked one up to see how it works. Fit my M&P shield .45, Sig P226, and my Glock 42 .380. Handled the magazines well and it does save on the thumbs. Nice product.
The Caldwell works fine with my 15 and 17 round M&P 9mm mags, but I tried repeatedly to load new Taurus PT92 factory 15-round mags with this device and the rounds started going in wrong after 5-10 rounds were loaded. By "wrong" I mean vertically. I just ordered an Uplula, hoping that works better. By the way, I also got this "free" when I bought the M&P.
I'll keep my Uplula. And this one's rather pricey and bulky
Looks like a sexy tool
Who else is here because they received this with their S&W rebate and couldn't figure it out, even with the instructions?
As someone else said, bulky and over engineered. But the UpLULA also confused me at first.
Once I got the hang of this thing, it wasn't that bad. But be careful, it'll let you load one round too many. Really puts a lot of pressure on the round when loading. Nice because the UpLULA can be a struggle with the last one, especially on a new clip.
Kinda wish they'd sent some mag holders instead. But my carry ammo was turning green and I was pleasantly surprised to receive two 8 round mags!
0:19 where can i find these red casing bullets?
I got one in the S&W Summer Rebate and it is incredible. Loads a double stack 17 rounder for a CZ which I was never able to get more than 15 into before.
for anyone wondering, it does not work with sten , uzi, or sterling mags. Yes I know these are sub gun mags but was hoping this loader was more universal
Eh, I"ll stick with my Maglula.
WHOA
WAY over engineered. Bulky, clumsy and a pain in the ass to use
