  1. By law, if your lower is built as rifle first with a butt stock attached it's a rifle forever.  If you build it as a handgun, you can do anything you like and change it back and forth.  I have a tip, build every lower as a handgun first, take some clear high res photos of it configured as a handgun "showing the SN#" then you can use the lower as a handgun or a rifle from that point on.  I copy the photos onto a micro SD card and keep them in a safe place or several places.

  2. Should I get a copy of my 4473? The shop that did my billet said they registered it as Other. I would like to build a pistol. What I have been hearing from a couple groups is that if you want to switch back and forth, first build a pistol, document it, then swap in rifle parts.

  3. Awesome Video! I'm a 10 year navy Vet with a beautiful wife and 4 daughters. I've been really thinking about home security as of late. I have the alarm system and cameras but now it time to start purchasing firearms. I'm really interested in the AR-15 9mm pistols. I've been looking for affordable choices on complete guns. The only choice I've been able to find is the Freedom Ordnance FX-9. Are there any others that I should be looking into? Thank you for your time.

  4. You really should buy you a safe instead of more guns buddy. I assume this is your garage or basement. Wouldn't suggest posting videos showing unsecured firearms in your home.

  5. This is outdated. The ATF has approved new braces, like the sba3, that use a standard mil spec buffer tube as platform for the brace. Also the mod 2 tail hook has a proprietary 6 position buffer tube.

  6. Bad ass video.

Sorry im kinda new to the ar pistols. But ive got my eye on a nice 10.5” upper and i should be getting my stripped lower tomorrow. Would i be able to have that upper on my pistol without having to fall into problems like having to get a tax stamp. Im not gonna have a adjustable stock or no vertical forgrips. Just want a pistol longer than the 7” uppers. Any help is appreciated.

  7. Does it have to be a stripped lower ? and it can be a Standard Lower as long as I register it as a other ? not a pistol lower ? Sorry for all the questions I want to make sure I build this the right way I deal with ak’s not so much with the ar platform and I don’t want a Rutherford county cop to take me to lock up because he doesn’t know what a other is

  8. Kotaboy32, I am building my first ar pistol for the purpose of homedefense, truck gun, etc. However I am torn between purchasing a 7.5” or a 10.5” barrel. Out of curiosity, what length of barrel would you recommend?

  9. Thank you so much for the quick run down of the ARP laws…I just purchased my first AR (Pistol) online and will be doing the build myself. You answered all the questions I had about this firearm reason being because it isn't your average AR. THANKS AGAIN, BUD 👍👍👍

  10. I understand that when building an ar pistol you have to do a fresh build on a virgin lower intended to be a pistol. Afterwards you can then use that lower on a rifle and then back on a pistol. I have a complete ar rifle kit that ive done nothing with. Can i take the lower rifle kit and build it for a pistol. I also have a completed lower that was built from parts that came with a rifle kit but its never been mounted to the ar rifle upper. Can i legally use this lower on a pistol upper?

  11. I need some clarification if anyone can help. I bought a stripped lower a couple years ago and had set it aside. A few weeks ago I decided to finish it by doing a pistol build, so I bought the pistol length buffer assembly along with a SB tactical brace and a 7.5 inch complete pistol upper. I believe I put it under “long gun/rifle” when filling out the 4473 form because I wasn’t sure what I was going to be doing with it. Does this mean I have to buy a new lower assembly or go through all the bs to have it as an sbr? Is there anyway around that since it has never had rifle parts on it?

  12. I have the SBPDW Pistol Stabilizing Brace on my AR pistol. It is length adjustable, but is a brace and not a stock. You stated that they can't be collapsible, I don't believe that to be correct.

  13. Is there any legal problems with having the AR pistol on the shelf or inside the safe along with a full AR service rifle? Don't want to be imprisoned for "constructive possession".

  14. this video is sad. there is no right to bear arms anymore. we cant even get arms except for fire arms. were looking at videos about what we can or cant have about the smallest things. also background checks are registration and bullshit. the NRA is for gun control.

  15. Anyone who thanks military now a days is a moron they fought for our freedoms in 1776 and ww2. After that is just been empire building. How can you be defending freedom when you are invading they dont want you there. Cognitive dissidence is strong in this society.
