  1. I bought a psa “builder’s parts kit” at field n’ stream and I thought it was cool that they had a whole display of psa parts and kits, with just about everything from barrels to buffer tubes. When I took the parts out of the bag however, I knew not to expect crazy good but a lot of stuff looked ruff. The firing pin wasn’t polished and had tool marks and burrs on it. I got 3 cam pins which only 1 fit out of all because the other 2 weren’t beveled and were spread to far apart. It almost seems like the parts I got were from a out of spec pile they had saved up. There was also a thick grey hair about 4 inches long in the bag that looked like it belonged to a husky dog. Pretty funny

  2. Man, I had that same big wheel! Those were definitely "the days" I would carry that bad boy up the hill on my road and crawl on it, I'd get up to about what felt like 60mph and once I got to the bottom of the hill I'd sling the handlebars to the right and do about 5-360's, it's a shame kids will be talking about, man I had that same tablet when I was a kid, or game console. I wish kids gave a crap about the thrill of danger on a big wheel like back in the day.

  3. I'm considering using a PSA AR-15 EPT MOE LPK w/ambi safty – 7777793, JP Enterprises reduced power Spring Kit – JP-JPS3.5, Joe Bob's trigger adjuster screw – JB-TRIGGERADJUSTER. This video helped reaffirm what I was considering.

  4. That's great about the color bags but quality is what I am concerned about there Gen 2 gets have oxide coated springs and bolt catch so I'm not sure about CMMG, however if the same quality then bag / install factor then better deal.

  5. man I have a psa lpk and I think I got lucky, it's by far the best trigger I've ever pulled. no travel crisp 5-6 pound pull, pops like glass everytime. I was expecting to replace it but unless the mim hammer breaks it will stay

  6. I gotta say, if somebody needs the color-coded bags they do not know their weapon well enough. Of course there is a learning curve if you are new, but I can easily identify every single part in an AR and know where it goes and what it does. 7. PSA LPKs have been really inconsistent over the years but they are all I use. During the panic they were selling LPKs with junky parts, I got a couple with paint coming off in the bags. I'm all about the ALG QMS trigger over stock 🙂

  8. i like rock river arms 2 stage, but i mad 5 rifles with cmmg parts kits and i like the triggers cmmg has. i wouldnt use andersons raw casting hammer and trigger to weigh down a minnow. i just ordered an overmolded psa LPK  with fire control, it looks  like the cmmg. for 44 vs 64 and a hard plastic A2 grip

  9. is there really a difference in lpk?? i have used several psa lpk with the quality mil spec triggers with zero problems, but on my new build my local gun shop has some cmmg lpk's for $69 thinking about getting one..

  10. I bought a cmmg and three psa lower parts kits and what I really like is the black oxide trigger and hammer springs that cmmg does not offer and could possibly rust, for the price and quality psa is the way to go I believe.

  11. It's cool to see them side-by-side, like that. I can vouch for the CMMG pins being very tight (as in needing to use a blunt object to get the takedown & pivot started). I think they will come around with use.
