anyone figured out how break the bond on the handguard?
If the current rail I have mounts to the barrel nut using 2 screws on the bottom will I still need to swap the barrel nut? Or does everyone use proprietary barrelnuts?
Ah yes, the calibrated elbow. Know it well.
Also, I have come across a lot of people that are starting to stake their gas blocks as well.
Excellent video and instructions! Thank you for going straight to the topic, without 2 minutes of logos, shooting scenes, or music drowning out your senses. This is the way instructional videos should be.
good video, so this handguard once installed is no longer a field strippable item?
My G3K HANDGUARD rail is a little wider that the rail on my upper receiver. Should I be concerned?
How do you deal with the adhesive when you decide to take the rail back off?
Fancy and expensive, yet you still need glue? LMAO.
your video is very clearly. Thank you, I just bought a M-Lok handguard from ohhunt. very like it. http://www.ohhunt.com/ohhunt-7quot-9quot-10quot-12quot-135quot-15quot-free-float-m-lok-handguard-with-steel-nut_p1796.html
Would this free float handguard fit a DPMS Oracle 5.56 NATO?
Awesome video! Great detail in each step that make it so easy for new builders to follow. Thumbs up!!
Is getting one of these handguards off easy with having the adhesive on it?
1:22 Hahahaha
š So true!!
You earned my subscription with this video!!
Very clean and professional. Well done.
Does never seize work w aluminum or should I find some anti seize
Can I install it without the torque plate and substitute washers instead
I bought mine used so it didn't come with a handguard, do I definitely needed this video. Good to see you again, wondered where you got to after the Huldra videos went away. Great informative video.
Does the handguard come with a barrel nut or do you have to buy one separately?
Iāll say this again you do not have to season the threads on an AR15 upper. The barrel nut is captured by the stainless steel gas tube, it couldnāt come undone if it wanted to. The anti seize grease will ensure that the barrel nut comes off when you want it to later.
Any updates on removal ? I have this arriving tomorrow to replace a damaged Alpha Rail. If I decide to change out barrels later how easy is removal ?
I have a question does this hand guard make the Ar a little lightweight then what it is from the factory? I didn't know about this channel until today and I'm going to subscribe already nice content
