The central nervous system cannot tell the difference between 2,100 FPS and 3,100 FPS that being said the 5.56 is absolutely intended to use velocity for its lethality in combat.
Plenty of big game animals 🦌 have been dropped by a .22LR even the bipedal ones 👀
Most engagements don’t require a 16+ inch barrel especially in urban areas that 16+ barrel could hinder the operator 11.5 really is the sweet spot and enough training and knowledge of your 11.5 long targets are no challenge anything more than a 14.5 might as well get a 20” upper to carry swap the upper out
556 was designed to get it’s optimum performance out of a 20 inch barrel. 14.5 inch barrels are a compromise between portability in close quarters and performance. 556 especially in the 50 grain loads loses it’s shocking impact going shorter than 18 inches. For short barrels 300 Blackout is a better round. You can use subsonic loads and you have a heavier bullet. It’s quite effective at clearing buildings and for street fighting at closer distances. I run 300 Blackout when I go shorter than 14.5. 24 inches with 556 reaches out and does a number on varmints.

See that LWRC! 😳😳❤️❤️
if you move back a lil bit, youll get higher numbers, the velotivty increases as it leaves the weapon
do 12.5
That's why I use my 20in it get you past the 3,000fps desired velocity for proper bullet performance.

Got a few 14s and one 10. Super sweet knowing I upgraded from a seven five to a 14, best decision.
Shooting just one round isn’t statistically significant. You need to shoot at least 6 rounds per barrel
The 7.5 with a can is perfect for those bump in the night situations
Damn them rifles sounded dry as hell
I'm still going to use my 7.5 5.56
Who Gives a Fuk about velocity in a AR15 ? If you want velocity plus distance you’d definitely use a different Tool.
Want short distance stopping Power use a Shotgun
7.5 AR15 is ideal for smaller vehicle carry because it uses ammunition that isn’t an arm n leg & u can find it almost anywhere.
Plenty of Videos out there where Good shooters show hitting targets at 300yds in the A zone with just a Red Dot with a 7.5 AR
Just food for thought but most importantly go out there & Train. 🤙🏼
What’s the hand stop and rail cover on the 14.7?
People still talk about this?
Anyone else kinda shocked that 7.5in got em zinging at over 2k fps?
If youre running 7.5" 5.56 …… you may as well be shooting a 5.7×28
They all kill so I'm not yapping
I have anemia now.
But will all 3 kill ?

Do suppressors affect muzzle velocity in any significant way?
Gotta put the 20 in the mix
Whoever is at the receiving end is in trouble with either one…lol
10.5 / 13.9 / 16 / and 18 or 20" …
LEGOS,.. FOR MEN. 😅
🎶🎵GOTTA CATCH THEM ALL🎶🎵
What's the point of owning 3 different barrel lengths if they all set up the same
14.5 inch 5.56 is the shortest practical
No 20 inch barrel, like Uncle Eugene designed?
Is shooting left handed just as comfortable as being a right handed shooter? And have you shot with your off eye before?
