I bought a Micro AR-15 Pistol a few days ago and I wanted to share this review of it. This model is called a “AR-14” and it was made by a company called FBJ Industries located in Glendale, Arizona. I cleaned and oiled the pistol then took it to my gun club to test it. The first magazine worked fine, but I had only filled the mag up half way. When I tried another mag, the pistol started double feeding and not ejecting the spent shell casing. I believe this happened due to this short buffer tube not being ideal for any caliber higher than 9mm. Before shooting this pistol, I read an article saying that the shorter buffer tubes are more ideal for the AR9 platform, which requires less power to eject and cycle the rounds. If you are having a better experience than I’m having with a short buffer tube on an AR-15, please leave your feedback and let me know which buffer tube that you’re using. Thanks for watching.

9MM is a heavier round. I've built 2 micro ARs with the mini buffer tubes. 1 in 556 & the other in 300B.O. & I don't have issues with either of them. @rerocktactical has quite a few and he says it as well. Make sure you don't have the buffer detent in there. That gets in the way of the recoil spring and causes jams. These need to be able to free float.
If you're going to go with something short get 300 blackout with 110 grain V-Max supersonic rounds I run a 7 and 1/2 inch palmetto State armory 300 blackout AR pistol and I can take targets from 10 to 150 yds easily
It just doesn't make sense to me to run 556 in that short of a barrel I mean you're literally better off with a 9 mm PCC
brother you were over-gassed all you needed was a adjustable gas block ….. tune the gas block at the range
the 556 short buffer tube is a little bit longer than the 9mm one so maybe you got the wrong one. check MCKgear up they have some 556 micro buffer tubes design specifically for 556/223
Never took my gun to the gunsmith just to take off a buffer tube or put one on It’s way too easy bro
My ar pistol won’t come apart unless I unscrew the 3 inch micro buffer tube which I have no problem doing
Maybe It’s the clip u using
Besides the problem you had it can cause the BCG to get beat to hell. Hope switching the buffer tubes fixed your problem. Have fun shooting!
where did you get the buffer tube send link plss im making a build js like this 1
Why the ar 9 look like that
I’ve got 2 ar pistols using the small buffer tubes from deadfoot arms. One of the. Is the collapsing tail hook, one is the folding. The folding one shoots while it’s folded. One is on a 556 ones on a 300 blackout. Once I broke them in I’ve had no issues. Try deadfoot arms they have some good products. Expensive but worth it.
I just hate the concussiveness from the short barrels. Mine are 5 inch.
I have the same one and the only issue I had was it failing to feed never any jams tho
Man u better buy your own 🧰 tools 🔧 shii cheap, gun Smith gone dic u down 😂
Might just need to be broken in, I will try oiling the hell out of it and keep racking it for about an hour
Yo def love the investing part at the end, I just recently started investing I might need to watch this account bro.
Do you think swapping the buffer weight and spring might make a difference ?
My micro 556 arp runs just fine with the micro buffer
The round goes in the chamber sir. you may be missing a buffer tube detent
Building a 5” arp right now it should be done within a month give or take. From what I’ve heard and seen for micro buffer tubes you don’t need the buffer tube detent. Also an h2-3 spring should help. Watch @rerocktactical I think he’s got 2-3 videos of his setups and buffer tube reviews and explanations. But I like that pink clear mag looks hard solid build💯💯💯💯🙏🙏 keep the vids coming👍🏽
