On Wednesday, April 1st, Governor Patrick Morrisey signed House Bill 4106, expanding constitutional carry provisions to 18-20 year olds. This is a critical enhancement of West Virginia’s constitutional carry provisions, allowing all law-abiding legal adults to exercise their right to self-defense.

NRA thanks Governor Morrisey, lead sponsor Delegate Chuck Horst, lead Senate sponsor Senator Chris Rose, all cosponsors in the legislature, and all NRA members and fellow Second Amendment advocates who engaged with legislators this session to help advance this critical legislation.

NRA will return to Charleston for the 2027 legislative session. Please stay tuned to the RNA-ILA website and your inbox for updates regarding our Second Amendment rights and hunting hertitge.
