  1. I would just get a supressor Although millions are doing it!Why fingerprinting for a muffler we don’t do fingerprinting for firearms! Why the GPS location of your device and all this info !I’ll stick with being that loud guy!

  2. A brake is the best for weapon control, you don’t like the massive flash at night add a suppressor. I built an AR just recently and it feels like it has zero recoil and that muzzle brake helps a lot with that control.

  3. Aera419 Helfire Match and Sidewinder Muzzle Brakes are the most effective in dampening recoil and Muzzle rise. If you don't wear adequate hearing protection, you will loose most of your hearing ability.
Area419 brake attachment allows fast- quick interchangeabity to a SUPRESSOR due to the mounting adaptor system unique to their design. CHECK THEM OUT. THEY AIN'T CHEAP, BUT THEY ARE GOOD!

  4. After using all types of brakes, I have gone full circle and now only want flash hiders lol the concussive force of brakes are not worth the little bit of recoil control in my ARs. Also, a lesser developed opinion of mine, single port brakes are useless but im open to have my mind changed.

  5. i have experienced "Hollywood" quiet suppressors. Using Sub-Sonic 9mm or 300 blkout ammo. The rifle had a 16" barrel, heavy buffer weight 5.4oz with springco red spring and DD BCG and a Speedrifle adjustable gas block.

but my favorite goto is a Muzzle-CompenBreak-FlashHider

  6. Are you using a silencer? If yes, then use what ever works for your attachment style. Are you a competition shooter? If yes, then use what ever brake or comp you want. If you answer no to both, an A2 is all you need. It does a great job at mitigating flash and muzzle rise.

  7. I understood that once a guy next to me with a 6.5 Creedmoor shot next to me with a muzzle break. I have an SJC Compensator that is fantastic for recoil control. BUT…. I took it off. I now understand barrel harmonics and how they play with your barrel's whip. POA and POI shifts are noticeable. I now use a three-prong old-school flash hider and love it. As long as you have a barrel that shoots decent, a [propp[er flash hider will do.

  8. It might be better to say that a brake redirects the gases back towards those to the left and the right of the shooter rather than saying it's directed back at the shooter. People wouldn't use brakes on the rifle if they had to indoor the concussive blast but they're fine with those next to him at the indoor ranges having to deal with it.

  9. no one ever talks about the products from PAMAx . they have awesome BCGs X-Slick i been using them for many years and they are awesome , and their own tested muzzle breaks, or the Apollo Max from Ultradyne .. both great products.

  10. I have a 4 prong flash hider on my AR15M4 I won't go to a indoor gun range. My flashider is a host for a suppressor but funds aren't available. I got this 4 prong for capability of using a suppressor in the future.

  11. The YUGE problem with flash hiders is that they are illegal in California and many blue states.

Another reason to use a brake or compensator is that they are legal in blue states.
