I don't shoot .223 so 5.56 barrels are fine for me, and being combat proven, YEP….
Did you guys fire Big Ben just give me a straight answer and then maybe I will start purchasing stuff from you again
1in7 or1 in8 great for anything 55 grain up to 77 grain I prefer the military twist rate😮
223 Wylde is a hybrid clambering, not a cartridge or a round
Ive got both a 5.56 bcm barrel and a .223 wylde barrel on my blackout defense. Both shoot great unfortunately to really test the accuracy you have to use 77grain match grade ammo and the way things are looking im just happy to have 55grain ammo.
Bless me please family i need 1
what is the laser setup on the PSW
The was a good start to the video 😂
When it gets kinetic, there will be a lot of 5.56 and 223 laying around!
do they have any videos reviewing the Holosun 510c? enjoy the vids
The colt canada that cannot exist in canada
Both of mine are 556 barrels one is 1/7 twist and one is 1/8 twist.
Middle of both roads 😂
I was under the impression that you couldn't fire .556 out of a .223 barrel….. but that you could do both with a .556? So am I wrong?
My Daniel defense mk12 loves the barnes 85gr otm and black hills 77gr tmk
223 Wylde gets you more consistent accuracy between 556 and 223 and it gives you faster velocities. A 13.9 223 Wylde can get similar velocities as an 18-20 inch 556 barrel
“It’s best capability to stabilize properly”
"blinker fluid" is wyld 🤣
But what does it come down to?
I’ll stick with 5.56 so I can shoot .223 as well. It’s just a general purpose basic rifle.
Either, thats what i say.
Hold on ……is that you Crispy? Lol😅
I think I’ve jus figured out I’m a 223 Wylde type of guy. Time for a new barrel 😅
So based on that explanation, if someone was planning on using a barrel specifically for a FRT setup, the 5.56 chamber would be the best choice?
Good information to know
Thanks guys
so… i dont know if this is still the case, but i have a friend who used to work for Ruger. the Mini-14 could come in either 556 or 223, the inside secret, they were the same, like identical.
the initial reason was Canada. in Canada you could not sell a semiautomatic firearm in 556 because it is considered a "war cartridge", but you could have one in 223. so they literally just stamped them as 223 for one batch, and the next batch as 556.
it ended up being for fudds also who thought the 556 was inaccurate and the 223 was accurate. same barrel, same rifling, different marking, that's it.
Great job, as usual, explaining
Is that an AR-15 with no forward assist? 🤢🤮
This is perfect timing. I'm just working up a parts list for an 18".223 Wylde AR to pretend like I know how to shoot. I live in the Ozarks so there's no point in 6PRC or Grendel or anything else because a couple yards is a "long" shot around here – if there's not a hill in the way, there's a forest in the way.
Appreciate the clear explanation 👍
Great job, as usual, explaining
I use both with a 18" Stoner AR15 (Wylde) med contour 1/8 Twist
Okay, but my JRA Gallant only shoots 5.56 mm.
