NRA-ILA | Wyoming: Governor Signs Pro-Gun Bills as 2026 Session Adjourns

Today, March 11th, the Wyoming legislature adjourned sine die from the 2026 legislative session. This session was very successful for pro-Second Amendment legislation, as Governor Mark Gordon recently signed three bills into law; HB 39, strengthening the state’s restoration of gun rights statutes, HB 96, expanding carry permits and campus carry rights to include 18-20 year olds, and HB 98, strengthening the existing statute prohibiting the use of red flag type laws.

NRA thanks Governor Gordon, all legislators who advanced these critical bills, and all NRA members and fellow Second Amendment advocates who engaged with legislators this session.

Your NRA will return to Cheyenne for the 2027 legislative session. Please stay tuned to the NRA-ILA website and your inbox for updates.
