  1. Love this as a concept and production upper. Can’t wait to eventually get my hands on one!

Have these shown any promise with the Arizona Regulator FRT? I’ve had great success using it in my AR’s and since your BCG and upper seem to match up with the standard AR-15 components in the rear of the upper receiver, I’d hope it works well. If not, guess I’ll just have to CNC machine a super safety (oh the horror lol) to use with it if I ever get my hands on one.

  2. @limasix
Hear me out… the L6 BF upper with a DOLOS ar15 "quick change" barrel? Would it work?? You could theoretically have 6 barrels with the dolos adapters and still be way more cost effective than of BFs

  3. I thought the A5 systems only worked with rifle length springs and A5 buffers. SpringCo orange is carbine length, correct? Are the H3 buffers also carbine?

Really excited to see these things hit production!

  4. You should reach out to andy from blackout defense… they are on the cutting edge of ar-15 barrel heat dissipation tech and are new enough it would probably be realy easy for them to make you some dtl helix barrels with the feed lips maschined on top.
Like i have one of there rifels with a super safety and dont get cook offs ever. Even after a 500 round range day.
I would pay an aditional 1500 over msrp for a lima 6 blackout defense collab.

  5. Just now discovered your channel and this project…WOW…THANK YOU!!! I like your thoughts, designs and goals, man. I'm so sorry about the loss of your father…from what you said about him, he seemed like a great guy. I've a LOT of experience with the old M-60 LMG from back in MY Army days and note the similarities in your system. I applaud your efforts to make your offering more affordable and wish you great success, sir!

  6. oh that is awesome, i was wondering if a channel or the block diverting somehow would work but thought the cost to cut or mold that would just be prohibitive, good to know the channel would be too leaky

  7. Would a cast gas block be better for a custom gas block. You would be able to do an internal chanel for the gas to flow like an engines coolent chanels. Just a thought seems it would be cheaper then the barrel drill juggle.

  8. There's something red on the ground by the right of the table leg, hydraulic press handle?
I'm getting OCD about wanting to cleanup and vacuum the shop carpet.
Also: I presume you've tried blind holes, different gas block designs? What about a bent/pigtail tube?

  9. Hey, I just saw this and been following y’all’s progress, it looks good. So I’m not gunsmith or super machinist but play around building different designs. I think I have a valid suggestion for those milled gas blocks that would prevent them being salvaged and actually let you use that design. Consider making a thin stainless split collar sleeve w flanges on front and back that can snap in place inside the gas block and just have the gas block journal size opened up accordingly to whatever thickness the shim is and just align w the port. Drilling a hole in that split may be needed ? Or just align the split somewhere to the side and drill the hole through the shim for the gas port maybe positioning the split w the dimpled mount area? It should work and if properly fitted, shouldn’t really present gas leak…Just a suggestion, you can give me an “honorable mention “ in the design notes if utilized.!!! Good luck with the project, looks good…
