Cycling Problems solved, not easy, and bolt failure to seat, causing light primer strikes and failure to fire, persists. Ammo I used was PMC X-Tac 148g and Federal Premium 168g, the same ammo CMMG used in the warranty video. The problems with this gun consistently outweigh the benefits, though when it works, it shoots beautifully. Given what I know now, I would not have wasted $2,000 on this gun.

I recently ordered the Resolute from CMMG. I'll let you know how it does. I wonder if they would let you trade up if that issue can't be fixed? Anyway, I hope mine works out. It is one of the few rifles I researched that I thought might be good out of the box. Most of the .308 AR-10 platforms I was researching seemed to have difficulties.
I’m wishing I stumbled on your videos before ordering an upper/lower. Like you’ve mentioned it’s limited in good options for NY and CA getting an AR, so when I discovered Cmmg I thought it would be a perfect solution.
Any update from CMMG? Been wanting to buy one but this isn’t confidence inspiring.
I’m wondering if Cerakote inside the upper is causing bolt drag once carbon starts building up
I like Cmmg, with that said I only build my own pews
Thanks!
