On Tuesday, House Bill 360, legislation creating the Second Amendment Sales Tax Holiday, advanced from the Alabama House and is now pending before the Senate Finance and Taxation Education Committee. Please click the Take Action button below and respectfully urge members of the Senate Finance and Taxation Education Committee to SUPPORT HB 360.
HB 360 would exempt the gross proceeds from the sale of firearms, ammunition, and hunting supplies from state sales and use tax each year, beginning at 12:01 a.m. on the last Friday in August and ending at midnight the following Sunday.
