Mf said “one of those home depot things that holds things together” 😢 you mean a clamp big dawg?
I’m trying to build my own AR-15 but I’m on a budget to get tools could anyone help a guy out please
Lol, I've got that same vice, Amazon.. and I use it to zero reddots in my house and I do have bolt down vices but it's nice to have one you can just set down and use.. especially at my desk that's in my house, not in my work shed😊
Thanks for this. I have a need to rebarrel my AR to change its use case and wanted to try doing it myself. I did NOT want to buy zillions of dollars worth of tools.
5:39 😮😮😮
0:16 gadgets 😂😂😂
I enjoyed your video and especially appreciated your attention to detail. Your level of commitment to doing things correctly truly stands out. Many people overlook the importance of precision, particularly in situations where accuracy and excellence matter most. Thank you for the effort and care you put into your work.
i dont understand how/ why this guy uses a caliper to put an AR together.
Jesus this is expensive
do NOT buy cheap tools especially allen/torx bits. cheap tools, in the end, cost more money than they save. i stick to middle to upper middle tier tool brands and my most used tools, i buy 2 or more
if you plan in making ar's your hobby, definitely spend the money on your tools. tipon gun vices are excellent tools to have and they come in all different price ranges depending how far youve gone down the ar rabbit hole.
i got the tipton ultra vice 110011 and its done everything i needed it to. tipton makes good products just like alot of wheeler stuff which all can be found on scamazon, gun websites and your local sporting goods store.
For #6 Torque Wrench, is there a brand you recommend?
Sail lol, you have been watching to many SOTARd videos.
Guy has Pittsburgh calipers smh
I was looking at the Fix it sticks but they cost alot.
Does that little vise work decent ? Seen one at harbor freight
Harbor freight digital calipers are notoriously out of spec. Do yourself a favor and buy a quality one, or at the very least QUADRUPLE check that HF one before you do anything.
I would also recommend a nice set of gauges, If you don't care about gauging the BCG and all that at least get a set of go/no-go gauges if you plan on putting the upper together. Great content!
Great video ! One of my favorite guntubers you talk and explain alot of the stuff we all really want to know and learn vs just watching people shoot at plates and review guns they’re sent by the manufacturer
Excellent advice. One and done. Do it right the first time to avoid double work and potential damage, malfunctions, etc.. Good video 👍
Don’t buy cheap hex or torques bits.
Very well put together & explanation. Also watched the "build my rifle" series you dropped. Have you tested ammo & groups yet or is that coming up?
🇺🇸👍🏽
Be prepared to shell out $500-$1,000 for all these tools. It sucks but they'll last you hundreds of builds. Right tool for the right job. It helps tremendously.
What do u think of them fix it stick sets?
I like the punch block that’s magnetic. Good for keeping those pins under control 😅
Thank you for the info…I'm about step away from pistol builds for a little and get into AR builds and I needed this.
Ws in the chat for the newbies
Thanks for this video! I just recently bought my first gun and would like to build an AR one day. I’m sure this video will come in handy then.
I said about the magpul bevblock. It also has a lower magwel holder
If ur breaking the wheeler reaction rod, ur probably over torquing
Excellent posting❗️

All you need is a punch set and a AR Wrench the rest is just to make money
