On Friday, February 13th, the House Public Safety committee will hold a hearing on House Bill 1524, jeopardizing concealed and open carry. Please contact members of the committee by using the TAKE ACTION button below and urge them to OPPOSE HB 1524.
House Bill 1524 prohibits carrying “assault firearms” in public places, including streets, sidewalks, and parks. Because of vague definitions, HB 1524 effectively criminalizes carrying any center-fire semi-automatic firearm in the Commonwealth.
