  1. This would be exactly what I want if it's medium setting was 1000. 500 isn't enough, and 1,800 might be too much but I'm not sure. I want it for work, currently I have an 800 lumen, which is just barely adequate. 1000 or 1200 would be perfect, but I think doubling it could be useful occasionally.
I think I'll buy it, and if it is indeed too much, return it and get a 1000 lumen model. For $80 I don't want it to be only a little bit brighter than my $20 flashlight, it does need to be an improvement.

  2. Streamlight makes some of the most practical and useful lights out. Not all the fancy colors and gadgets. Just solid bright lights that last forever! I’ve edc’d my 2lx for over 15 yrs as a plumber. Still works as new. There’s only one thing wrong with this one. Man I wish they made a non usb version. I don’t like those cells or the slide open feature. I’m first in line for a non usb version!

  3. Thanks for the review! I’ve owned Streamlight products for many years, so it’s nice to see more of their goods around. This light looks like a very nice EDC. I couldn’t tell, though; is that a USB-C port on the battery? Surely, in this day and age, that’s not a micro-USB, right? From certain angles, it looked like one side of the “slot” was narrower than the other, which is why I ask this question.
