Galileo tells me that you're wrong about steel mags falling faster.
Lancers and Pmags are all I trust, Ive got other magazines, aluminum, steel, polymer but none are as good as Lancers and Pmags.
Pmags are about half the price of a Lancer so Pmags win by default.
Replace the followers in aluminum magazines with MAG110, check the spring lengths/diameter, and gauge the feed lips. People talk trash about aluminum mags but they are often the best priced. All my steel mags have sharp feed lips that shave brass into the action.
All going to be super-duper illegaler in Virginia soon…
P-mags.. and lancers aren’t bad.. I tend to go with Daniel defense mags just because I’ve literally not had one issue with any of them.. but I also haven’t with pmags either
I hate to be that guy, but it's not gonna fall faster, will be more robust though
“They’ll fall faster”
they fall faster?
what weighs more, ten pounds of feathers or ten pounds of dumbbells ?
i like steel but they are harder to find and cost as much or more than pmags so i have more pmags
They are making us use transparent mags down here on JTF-SB but some of the magazines have had some issues. My personal PMAGs have been my go-to because they are more reliable to be used down here
Steel mags tend to either stick or not seat properly where I live, so we primarily use polymer
You are awesome big fan sir.
My aluminum mags run great.
"They'll fall faster…"
Physics has left the chat😂
Everytime I took my own magazines to the range in the army to qualify I never had a single malfunction. Several people had malfunctions every iteration but no one wanted to listen when I said it was their magazines doing it.
Dude, you should have pointed out that Lancer is the best of both worlds' steel feed lips with polymer body. My fave mags.
My days in batt came after yours. We had the aluminum mags with the green followers, absolute trash. We eventually got the updated tan anti tilt followers that were better, but the PMAGs were the most reliable and indestructible. Most people went out and bought their own and put their initials on them with a paint marker to keep people from stealing them.
They can't fall faster. They all fall at the same rate.
They fall faster… well…
You obviously own absolute no magazines for even a Glock made of titanium. Titanium smith mags with steel uppers smoke every mag on the market. They make pmags go in a back to Tos R Us
I accidentally ETS’d with a giant plastic bin full of the old steel mags. Oddly, they were all close to brand new. Like someone hand picked them.
Gi mags are some of the best mags with replaced internals…
Pmag ftw
One of the good things about using an M14 in the Marine Corps was that all the mags were steel. Never had an issue with my magazines. Three combat appointments.
How do you have your turner kit attached to your butt stock?
And be aware that not all polymer magazines are created equal. I tried some budget ones from Sportsmans Guide just because. Well, cheaper is…well… cheap. More failures to feed in one trip to the range than i ever saw in 11 years in the Army.
“They’ll fall faster…” not sure about that one bud lol
