Glock quietly built its first rifle — and it just passed a national police trial.
The Glock GR-115 has now been accepted into a UK police primary carbine framework after one of the largest law-enforcement weapons trials in decades — but why hasn’t anyone seen it, and will it ever come to the U.S.?

  1. Hahaha the funniest thing about this is that the guns won't be used to protect the English at all. If anything they will be used on the English who speak out against the replacement they are going through.

  3. I am a bit reluctant to say this and I understand the feelings of those that don't agree with me. But how many AR designs do we really need? Nearly every company has its own AR-15 or a variant of one. I have two myself, a DPMS and a reproduction by H&R of the XM-16E1. I just don't see a need or use for another AR in my life. I am more interested in firearms with a history, such as the StG-44 that PSA appears to have cancelled. What angers me is that I have already paid HMG guns for mine and now no one wants to return my emails or calls about a refund of a vapor rifle. Sorry, I am venting so how you understand.

  4. As the ultimate amateur here's my opinion, I think the piston is a good idea. I have a WASR, a piston AR and a DI AR, WASR was the cheapest and the piston AR and DI AR were both a lot. Both of the ARs were expensive because of stuff like trigger quality, high end components, barrels, etc., not the piston or not. For the record, they're both fantastic rifles and even for me shoot super accurately, super reliably which are ultimately the point and I'm glad I have both of them. That's not the basis for my preference for piston or not.

The reason I like piston over DI is because I have way less crud on my face, clothes and hands and my Smith sunglasses after a range day. Also, the receiver and bolt and the entire rifle is easier to clean on piston guns than DI guns. Glock releases an AR it doesn't matter how good it is, people are going to buy it no matter what and if that makes someone happy I'm happy for them.

  5. Glock caved into the anti gun Marxist. I will never buy another Glock. Now they want to get into the AR market,25 years late. As if any market needs to pay stupid money for just another AR.

  6. I’m sick of the old news, they didn’t “just” drop this, it’s been a thing for years and you act like it just now came to be, you’re late bro, get back on track.

  7. Since the UK government has locked up more than 12,000 people for online posts, more than any nation on earth by more than double with Germany a distant second, it is questionable as to who the “bad guys” are over there.
