I once saw the Sigma 200-500mm f/2.8 EX DG – pretty sure that had this beat as a retail lens – but even for production-class, there are box lenses used in HD sports and studio broadcasts that are bigger. The Fujinon UA125x8 for example is a 4K 8-1000mm (16-2000mm with its built-in extender) super telephoto lens… about $1/4-million a pop.
