  2. I have a nebo 1200 slim and it works great but I can tell you I have given myself several hot pockets by bumping into the on button and not realizing it. But it works great for light abd charging my phone in a pinch.

  3. I am always amazed at the thoroughness of your tests, both number of products and different measurements.

I bought a NiteCore P35i flashlight which has a white Laser Excited Phosphor (LEP) mode which is insanely bright, plus 6 CREE floodlight LEDs.
It was spendy, even direct from HK before the tariff increase, but I’d love to see your numbers if you have extra time and “spare” money.

Thanks again for what you do, and how you do it!

  4. Having done Search & Rescue for 30 years, one becomes a flashlight junkie, and I have followed the transformation.
One needs a powerful light they can use all night, as few activities take place in under 15 minutes. And, needs to balance brightness with endurance.
The rechargeable batteries that can be swapped can be useful as long as you have enough of them.
Wish you had data on lights that put out around 700 lumens or more (maybe on a Medium setting) that could be tested in 1 to 3,4 hour performance.
On FEMA missions though (for 20 years), we were limited to flashlights that took AA batteries, due to limited charging station availability, and they needed to be intrinsically safe for hazardous environments.
    Cheers, Tony

  5. Absolutely fantastic review, as usual. Though, I wish you explained each lights “on / off” button. I want a light that simply turns on & off. Not one that you have to push the button 5 times to cycle through all its settings to get to “bright”.

  6. I bought a 90k lumen flashlight off of amazon a few years ago. I think its between 1-2k lumen. Though, I dont have much experience with flashlights. I bought a second one this year. It was complete garbage. Dimmer, sketchy button, would shut off if tapped on ect…
I think I'm going to buy a name brand for a good flashlight next time

  7. If I want a tool, I look to his channel. And don't even bother with what his full analysis is (short of time) – no disrespect to his meticulous hard work. Great respect for it. I just go to the end, and take his word on which thing he likes the best and I buy it. No questions asked. I have not regretted it.

  8. I carry the Anker on duty, and it was dependable enough for my to buy two more.
Now I wish I had waited and watched this first before buying the two extras. 😉
Thanks for this! I have to trust my flashlight with my life, so I may try a couple of your higher rated lights.
