  1. I already knew the Ak was gonna win. This gun was put through every sort of test you could think of before MASS production. Don’t forget. It had to be mass produced so it had to be very very reliable

  2. Well, to put a fair point the AK-47 was put through rigorous testing, like putting it in water to deal with water damage so it was tested for this and both specifically to write against several things like sand, water, and mud

  3. The debate over which is better – the Kalashnikov or the AR – is incredibly frustrating and irritating. Both systems were developed for different purposes and intended for use in different conditions. The AK is used by less professional soldiers in harsher conditions, while the AR was intended for professional use and more careful handling (I'm not saying the Russian army is unprofessional, I'm saying the Kalashnikov is much easier to use and maintain than the AR). Both variants have a certain amount of durability in case of unforeseen situations, the AK, by its very nature, is simply more durable than the AR. Just pay attention to the spacings between the components.
